Why Be Insecure

Why be insecure? I have gone years thinking I am completely useless because I don't have any talent, i cannot sing, dance, play an instrument, click my fingers, whistle, do magic tricks, play sport or anything 'cool' in fact.

My family have always said that you don't need any specific talent to be amazing, they said my confidence and kind heart was the best talent anyone could have but i could not see it. I thought "they family, they have to say that" but as i have gotten older and matured I have realized that not being able to do something does NOT make you any less superior than someone who can. As school started to get more personal and more self-opinionated I found myself. I found my talent. It may not be 'cool' as other things but it's something and it makes me who I am. So what am i good at? Fighting for what i believe in, public speaking and debating.

I believe everyone is good at something and you should never be insecure about it, you may have not found it yet but I promise you will, just give it time and even if it isn't the best thing ever don't be ashamed, embrace it and have confidence with it because I guarantee so many people will admire you for it.

Don't ever be quick to judge. It's a horrible act that makes you a selfish person. Everybody has good and bad so before you judge take some time to know the person. There are always going to be people who you are not going to like and there are always going to be people who don't like you and that's okay. That's life. Not everybody has to like you and you do not have to like everybody but all I ask is that you give them a chance! If you have giving them a chance and still do not like them that's okay. It's your choice but DO NOT be a horrible person and see the need to talk shit about them and make them feel insecure, all you have to do is avoid as much contact if not necessary and if it is bite your tongue, be the bigger person and just be nice! If the person really gets to you just confront them but don't be a bitch about it, just explain nicely how you think there is a misunderstanding and sort out the problem maturely.
